Wow! Four Weeks Out.

Yup today I'm four weeks out from my surgery.  Holy never thought those first two weeks would pass!  Bill went back to work today.  He has been my rock, my loving caregiver who nursed me back to humor and great health right alongside of my wonderful medical team.  It was emotional to have him return to work.  Emotional because it was another wonderful milestone for us.  Another step toward getting back to normal lives.  I am still getting myself healed and trying to avoid being too swollen.  Did a little too much today.  My mom remains in rehab with a setback in her left leg.  She'll be there through the holidays as she will have more strength building to do after the leg clears.  So meanwhile I need to take care of myself in order to help support she and my dad.
